Pride Rainbow Flag


The rainbow flag is often referred as the gay pride flag or the LGBTQ pride flag. It is a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender pride as well as used for LGBTQ social movements. The rainbow flag also is considered a symbol of peace and the wide selection of colors reflect the diversity that the LGBTQ community represents. The flag was created by artist Gilbert Baker in San Francisco and originally had eight stripes, but it most commonly seen today in its six-stripe version.
