Georgia State Flag
The Georgia state flag contains a coat of arms where the arch symbolizes the state’s constitution and the pillars represent the three branches of government. The words of the state motto, "Wisdom, Justice, and Moderation", are wrapped around the pillars, guarded by a Revolutionary War soldier. Adopted in 2003. Statehood on January 2, 1788.
