Marine Corps Flag

The United States Marine Corps Flag consists of a globe face in the western hemisphere and the former unofficial U.S. Navy Flag's anchor symbol behind it. An eagle sits atop the globe with the Marine Corps' motto, "Semper Fidelis," or "Always Faithful." The Marine Corps Flag is flown with an Army Spear pole ornament at the top of the pole. The flag was adopted in 1939.
