New York State Flag

The New York state flag features Liberty and Justice supporting the shield as an American eagle spreads its wings above on a world globe. Liberty’s left foot treads on a crown symbolizing the British Monarchy. Justice is blindfolded, symbolizing impartiality. Adopted in 1778. Statehood on June 26, 1788.
