FAQs: Hometown Hero Banners
What size pole banner do we need?
Pole banner size depends on your pole height and the space between brackets. Common sizes include 18 by 36, 24 by 36, and 24 by 48 inches, and our banners range from 16 by 45 to 30 by 80 inches. Share your pole details and we will recommend a size and bracket kit.
Should our pole banners have wind slits?
No. We do not recommend wind slits, and adding them voids the banner warranty. The right bracket system, such as Windscale, manages wind load instead.
What is the difference between vinyl and WeatherGuard banners?
Vinyl banners are 18 oz double-sided vinyl with full-color digital printing. WeatherGuard banners use Sunbrella and Sunduck marine acrylic fabric for longer outdoor life, with screen-printed designs that offer fewer color options.
How long does it take to get pole banners?
Standard lead time is 14 to 21 working days after artwork approval. Plan ahead for seasonal installs and holiday programs.
Is mounting hardware included?
Hardware is sold separately so you can reuse it with each new set of banners. Our Windscale 8 and Windscale 12 bracket systems cover most banner widths.
Can you design custom banners for our city or campus?
Yes. Our team can customize any design with your name, logo, or images, or build a fully custom banner. Request a custom quote or call 1-800-328-6195.
